Rich Bloomfield founded Bloomfield CFO in 2000 after 15 years as a CFO and six years with an international accounting firm. He has a Masters of Accountancy degree (Tax Emphasis) and graduated Magna cum Laude from Brigham Young University in 1981. Rich has significant experience planning and executing buyouts and transitions for dental practices and many other businesses.
He has focused much of his professional career on gift and estate planning including setting up structures to protect client businesses and assets. Included in that planning has been a significant focus on retirement planning – particularly on planning to minimize taxes during retirement.
Rich enjoys spending time with his wife, 5 children and 19 grandchildren. He also enjoys running, focusing on nutrition and fitness, and spending time outdoors gardening and at the ranch as much as possible.
